Asda Meat Feast Sub with Chicken Breast Sub

Asda Italian inspired meat feast consisting of red jalapeno, chorizo, roast chicken breast and a tomato marinara sauce on a white semolina sub roll.

And despite all those promising, flavorful ingredients, its hard to believe that non really shine through.

But this can be explained due to the poor soft white semolina topped sub roll.

Not only does it have a stale like texture, but the semolina is only in name, offering very little taste or improvement - or even complimenting the fillings.

Well the packaging clearly states 'with chicken breast' this could be reassurance to let you know there is an ingredient you know and can get on board with.

Because like the rest of the fillings, no flavor comes through.

What is missing from this Asda sub is good old mayo with perhaps a strong Cheddar to compliment the meats - but instead only a little spread of marinara sauce is in place.

Out of the plastic packaging the cardboard slip can be used as a plate as you eat the sub.

Colorful Italian ingredients is what your met with once you open up the sub to adjust the ingredients.

It can be a little easier delving into this sub by cutting it in half - the thickness of the filling is not very good on this one.

Viewing this sub from the cut, little ingredients are visible, largely because of lack of filling, meaning little spilling out.
